iTunes 7.5 and QuickTime 7.3 Updated

Apple today has released several key software updates for iTunes and QuickTime.  The new versions add new capabilities to the iPhone and iPod line while also fixing numerous bugs.  There have been a few security updates that have been addressed in both iTunes and QuickTime.

02 UK Reconsiders Data Transfer Policy02 the cell phone operator in the UK had come out with a notice about their 200MB monthly transfer “fair-use” policy.  It now appears they have listened to potential customers in the UK about the data usage issue and have changed their policy.  With not a moment to waste as the iPhone is released on Friday, 02 mangers surely had their hands full updating their sales people with the change.

iMac Software Update 1.2 For Tiger and 1.3 For LeopardYesterday’s announcement of the MacBook Pro Software update 1.2, has been followed by the iMac 2.0, 2.4 and 2.8GHz 20-inch and 24-inch models receiving two different software updates depending on which Mac OS X version the user is running.  The iMac’s have had a few issues with freezing during use and so Apple is trying to polish out this bug for maximum uptime.
