iMac Software Update 1.2 For Tiger and 1.3 For LeopardYesterday’s announcement of the MacBook Pro Software update 1.2, has been followed by the iMac 2.0, 2.4 and 2.8GHz 20-inch and 24-inch models receiving two different software updates depending on which Mac OS X version the user is running.  The iMac’s have had a few issues with freezing during use and so Apple is trying to polish out this bug for maximum uptime.

The first software update 1.2 works with the models mentioned above running Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger.  The next software update 1.3 works with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard.  The updates can be downloaded from software update or through Apple’s web site.  The file sizes range from a little over 13 MB to around 22 MB.

Both updates should make using the newer model iMac’s with either 10.4 Tiger or 10.4 Leopard a lot more enjoyable. Via Tuaw.
