iPod Nano And Classic Get Software Firmware Update to 1.0.2

iPod Classic and Nano software update 1.0.2Apple iPod Classic and Nano owners now have a new update to ponder the next time they link their iPod’s to their iTunes.  The details are non existent for this update but there are several users who have put comments about what the update might cover.

  1. Quicker menu loading
  2. Improved CoverFlow Operation
  3. Video Out Fix and other interface changes

The video out function will appear when a compatible cable set is connected.  This has been a somewhat long awaited fix for most owners wanting to view their downloaded video on their respective larger screens.

To get the update, connect the iPod to a Mac or PC running your iTunes library and then hit the “check for updates” button. Via Tuaw.
