Apple has introduced another version of the iPod at their recent press event a few days ago. The iPod Touch looks strinkengly familir to the home screen on the iPhone. The iPhone has more options such as a mapping function, an actual radio transmitter for cellular phone use and the always important visual voicemail. The iPod Touch however, has a lot of benefits to the end user, such as a smaller form factor, integrated WiFi and namely the Touch sensitivity.
The battery life on the iPod Touch should be at about 22- hours when playing back audio and a 5-hour play back of videos which has significantly in a car.
Apple’s new iPod Touch model is going for 8GB which prices that model $299. They have also released their 16GB version of the iPhone Touch for $399. The estimated ship date for the iPod Touch should be September 28th and it costs $399.
