112 Jailbreak Software For iPhone & iPod TouchThe 1.1.2 firmware for the iPhone cell phone and iPod touch both have a new GUI jailbreak.  The software is available and runs under Mac OS X and Windows.  Once connected, the software downloads the data from the iPod touch or iPhone, upgrades it with the new Jailbreak, installs SSH.app and installer.app and reloads it back to the device.  It should take about 10 minutes if done correctly and after it’s done, the device should be updated to 1.1.2.

For this to actually work a downgrade to 1.1.1 will need to be done if the iPhone or iPod touch had 1.1.2 already installed.  Unfortunately, the process is only for devices already activated through iTunes.  Devices already jailbroken and otherwise hacked should not try this method.

The update will only work through an Intel processor.  Directions to complete the upgrade should be found elsewhere on the Internet.  Take care when doing anything other than what Apple recommends to either the iPhone or iPod touch. Via Tuaw.
