Nullriver has released a graphical user interface GUI for short, version of its AppTapp Apple iPhone installer software. The difference between this version and the one that was released a few days ago, is that now, there are no commands or funky procedures to go through. The steps now are download, dock iPhone, quit iTunes, and launch the program. This takes all of the guesswork out of installing software that lets you take advantage of customizing your Apple iPhone cellphone.
Once the software recognizes an Apple iPhone it downloads a copy of the latest firmware software. You may choose between any of the already released versions; 1.0.0, 1.0.1, and 1.0.2. It takes a little while to copy the files to the iPhone and then the software copies other files to make it all work. If everything happened in sync then the iPhone should restart and the AppTapp Installer Software should appear on the iPhone main screen. The rest of the details for what this program can actually do and how it works is on the Nullriver Installer Software for iPhone post.
The Nullriver AppTapp software is a Universal Binary, it’s free and in the Beta release stage. This means that there are no warranties if the software somehow breaks the iPhone. There is also a warning that the software may cause problems when newer iPhone firmware is released. Via Tuaw.
