Traveling to the west coast of the United States usually means flying through LAX, or Los Angeles International Airport. There is something new and very helpful there, nestled in the middle of Terminal 6. It is Belkin’s branded store complete with their excellent tech products and more. I have visited three times and picked up a few items.

Belkin Store LAX Terminal 6 Tour

Disclosure: I received Belkin accessories at no cost for review. I have not been compensated for this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Belkin Products Acquired:

Swivel Charger + Cable (Lightning)

  • This travel charger is made for the iPhone and iPad. It produces 10 watts of power with 2.1 Amps. The swivel helps with power ports on the wall that have large adapters already plugged in and with the direction of where you might be sitting. Power ports at gates are not always facing the direction you would like, so plug this in and swivel it whoever you need.

Rockstar + AUX Cable

  • Phones and tablets mostly come with audio jacks. Belkin has come up with an audio star hub that can handle up to five other audio devices like headphones. This worked well with my Monster Elements Rose Gold Headphones. I have yet to see a Bluetooth adapter that can share audio to this many devices at once.

Universal Home Charger + Cable (Micro USB)

  • For all of the other gadgets you may have, this universal charger comes with a micro USB cable and an adapter that can output 10 watts with 2.1 Amps. This has ample power to power up a tablet too.

Lightning Cable with braided DuPont Kevlar

  • Picking the right lightning cable for travel means finding one that can handle the rigors of being pulled at, ending up in a bag with other cables while simultaneously being crushed by a heavy battery and being plugged in at awkward angles. DuPont’s Kevlar is braided over this lightning cable to protect against all of that. Spend a little more now on a dependable cable and skip having to regret continuous purchases of those other cables.

The store is the right size to see everything quickly and it is organized from headphones, headphones, audio gear and various charging products. They have pre-charged batteries of varying sizes, from several companies like myCharge and one of the few mobile wireless chargers for the Apple Watch.

Layovers, cancellations and gate changes are a fact of the flight life. Take five minutes and get nice Belkin travel gadgets to keep you going for the entire travel day.

Next time you find yourself flying through LAX between the Tom Bradley International Terminal and Terminal 7, locate the transfer tunnel and head towards Terminal 6. You will find a Starbucks, a restaurant by Wolfgang Puck and a See’s Candy kiosk too.
