iLife 08 Creative Software Suite Gets Update

Apple has just released software update to its famed creative software suite iLife ’08.  The updates from Apple are available for GarageBand, iPhoto, iMovie and iDVD.

GarageBand is now at version 4.1.  The update addresses an issue with the graphic display, as well as compatibility with thrid-party audio software.  Magic GarageBand also gets minor bug fixes.

iPhoto is now at 7.1.  The issues addressed in this update are for when moving photos between Events.  Apple had decided to add new greeting card themes, including holiday card designs.  There were a few other minor bugs fixed as well.

iMovie is now at 7.1.  This update fixes an issue with video and audio editing capabilities and problems with performance associated with opening and switching iMovie Events and Project.  As with the other updates, stability and bugs fixes were included.

iDVD is now at 7.1.  Stability has been improved, general compatibility problems have been addressed and other minor issues have also been fixed.

Lastly, iLife Support has been updated to version 8.1.  iLife Support 8.1 is a software support structure designed to be shared by all iLife programs and system software components.  The update to this program improves overall stability, fixes general compatibility problems and addresses quite a few other minor issues.

All of these updates can be downloaded now via Apple’s web site.  Be sure to have iLife ’08 installed first before trying to apply the upgrades. Via MacCentral.
