Leopard To Be Oficially Released October 26thAs reported on the 9th of October, Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard will officially be released on October 26th at 6:00pm.  Here at TheMacWizard.com we do not like to report on rumors as it only makes people excited when they might not need to be.  I know when I read rumors on the Internet I have to take them with a grain of salt as mostly they do not come true.  The release of Mac OS X 10.5 will forever change how Mac’s access the Internet and how people use their Mac’s.

Some users will be left out in the cold, PowerMac G3’s are not officially supported by this upgrade, but mostly anyone with a G4 over 867MHz should be fine.

A list of feature upgrades, Macintosh computers supported and tips on preparing your Mac are going to be available soon on this site.

You can now pre-order your copy of Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard at the Apple Store or from your favorite reseller.  The prices for 10.5 are as follows at $113 for Educational version, $129 For Single User and $199 for the five user-family pack. Via Tuaw.
